What's New with the Business Communication Emphasis?
A year has passed since the last BizComm E-Newsletter and a lot has been happening. During the 2007 Business Communication capstone quarters we had a visiting scholar from Romania, multiple guest speakers, new internships, awards, a website enhancement, and more. This article will update you on these developments and thank some of the key players. Written by BizComm’s lead professor, Dr. LeeAnne Kryder.
Interviewing is a Two Way Street: Questions to Ask the Interviewer
When entering a job interview, remember that the interview is not just to see if the company likes you, but to see if you like the company. To do this, you must answer the interviewer's questions honestly as well as ask the interviewer important questions. This article provides some essential questions that you may want to ask your potential employer during a job interview.

Grammar 101: A Quick Review of Punctuation Do's and Don'ts
Let’s face it, we have all asked the question, “Should there be a comma here?” Unfortunately, grammar rules are endless, and the number of mistakes we see in day-to-day writing is often far too many. The good news: there are easy ways to double check your grammar use and avoid making these common errors.
Thank you for taking the time to read our 2007 BizComm E-Newsletter. We hope you enjoyed the articles prepared by our instructor and students. Please keep in touch
